The theme of this Gold Medal-winning garden was an environment that welcomed wildlife. Stylistically it combined an area returned to wild planting with a more modern look. This garden carried the message that, if everyone returned a bit of their garden to nature, then we’re not taking so much away from it. I hoped to encourage people to have modern gardens, yet with a section dedicated to making wildlife feel at home.
This garden also featured a Moss Wall which lent some artistry to the garden and which appealed to the judges.
